 [musicfest 2006]

MusicFesT rOckED... seriously...
i so regretted not going last yr..
i learnt my lesson.
i went this yr. =)
0-SmArT-0

solo was quite ok..
dance was sleak and smooth and sexy..
group was awesome..
band was knock knock knocking..

SolOistS
1) Irvin Wan - i support him cuz he was entertaining during the semis.. but din really like his song choice today.. though of cuz his vocals are still there...
2) Debbie - some unknown yr 1.. cool girl with cool moves.. singing rock and roll! yup she deserves to win!
3) Christabel - she won the most popular vote.. i dun uds how it happens when everyone around me is stunned.. so who voted den??

DanCe
1) blaze - made up of indians.. juz like black 5... these indians have the natural ability to moon walk and glide about and do waves like chicken!!! ( as in easy ) really pro and sleak!
2) Risque - hot hot hot!!! sizzle.... many diff styles of modern dance.. they won.. i was hoping for blaze though.. but risque was great too..
3)escnad - normal dance grp that have been performing in vj since 2005..

VocAl grOupS
1) joel and ka hei - sang the troll lang of Il Divo.. it was nice la.. but they already sang it during semis! but it was nicer this time..
2) Hong Sheng & Co. - definitely i support! they were good in semis.. and even better today! they managed to capture the audiences' attention and support... and i think it was a clear cut victory... extremely happy for them! congrats jeremy!!! =))
3) Rayner & Jasmine - pretty interesting..

BaNds
1) the daniel band - this grp played emphasis largely on their instruments... wow.. no doubt great drummer and great guitarists!
2) the bandits - poor them.. had technically probs during their performance.. but nonetheless everyone cheered for them
3) the camels - totally had the audience screaming "have a nice day" along with han loong.. his vocals was much much much better than wad i heard during semis.. and no ugly leg cramp action.. haha was hoping they would win.. but the daniel band won.. it's cool..

YAY!!! MUSICFEST ROCKS MAN!!!!

Note: The band leader's name is Liu De Hua! (Were his parents fans of Andy Lau??) The remaining members are Malays.

they were the last grp (18B) to perform..
when they appeared on stage..
i was like.. wAD???
who are they...???
and they din't look one bit pro..

maybe only the chinese guy la..
hey dun call me racist ok...
but actually he was the only pro guy!!

they sang energy's FANG SHOU...
the singer is DAMN PRO.. WONDERFUL..
and the atmosphere was the most high then!
see that red guy kneeling there?
omg! he looked like a devil la..
painted red face with black veins???
and fugly engineering looking suit.. RED SUiT...
well.. he actually sang some chinese verse..
but's its always the same short phrase la..
ahha.. okay..
actually this was one of the best bandS...

seen them before.. they entertained us before JJ's arrival during his qian chang hui..

the middle guy is freakin tall and white..
and he always wears a hat...

i like the guy on the left..

and they sang xin yue tuan's song!
like AMaZinG...

they dunno how to converse in chinese.. but they sure noe how to sing in it..

 [LONG DAY]

today's trg was finally tiring..
as in all the pt and jumping..
more than usual..

although most of the time was spent waiting and slacking..
strangely i was feeling super tired..
oh well.. not impt..

anw the main thing today is...
SUPERBAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

went to suntec fountain of wealth with may yee to watch the various 18 bands strunt their thAng...

IT WAS CROWDED...
it's much much worst den vjc having mass dance there...
rows and rows of ppl surrounding the circumfence of the fountain..
couldnt get a good view anywhere... so watched from the back..

well.. but it was quite awesome to see normal ppl like u and me performing as if they were already some famous band!

WoOTssss!!!

some bands were cool.. some rocked.. while others juz ~~
i like the drummers mostly..
PRO!!!
and the rhythm they bang sounded nice no matter wad song and wad singer...

some dancers were super cool and seh too!!!
the girl dance group did pretty well..
and surprisingly sang quite nice too..

another guy dance grp did like martial arts kinda dance..
and could flip forwards and even backflip.. IN MID-AIR THAT KIND!!!
but 1 lost balance and fell on his butt..
quite funny.. but quite sad for him too.. haha

well.. i'll juz upload some photos and u can checked them out!

oh.. and niu nai was present!!!
though his comparing isnt really gd or wad..
HIS DANCE MOVES ARE TOTALLY KEWL!!!!
SEH OK!!!
GAO NAN DU! FAST AND FURIOUS!!!

it must have looked superb from the front view...
im gonna catch everything on tv again!

reached home about 1130..
watched the recorded campus superstar..
hey.. andriano did quite well wad...
sigh.. renfred was bad today loh.. ermm.. i mean last mon..
and i miss yu yang!!!
now i think yu yang and andriano damn cute la!!! =))
